Two Year Olds

"Sometimes you need to talk to a two year old just so you can understand life again."

Two Year Old Child Care and Preschool

At two years old, by most any definition, your child is officially a toddler. Two-year-olds are learning and acquiring a lot of new physical skills. It’s a time when imagination really begins to develop and you see it manifested as they engage in more pretend play. There are many different developments that take place during your child’s 2nd year of life, but keep in mind that children develop at different paces, so don’t panic if your child is late in meeting a few of the common milestones associated with their age.
Since two-year-olds are developing greater skills in most every developmental category, they discover they can suddenly do things on their own that previously required your help. They start trying more and more things as their abilities increase and they test their wings as they increase their capabilities.
As your child reaches the ‘official toddler’ age, the professionals at Holmdel Preschool provide the age-appropriate challenges, lessons and materials necessary to foster increased confidence while building a sincere love for learning.
